'Que Bella' - How Beautiful!
Bouncy, lustrous, sparkling dark and stylish,
If I have a good hair day, that's how my hair is!
Wavy by nature and bouncy too,
Little curls dancing at the shoots, make me swirl in happiness too!
Soft, fragrant, smooth and a shiny glare,
That's how it feels when I touch my hair.
No look is complete without a pretty hairstyle,
Straightening makes my personality sparkle,
a high pony adds style to my look
or just a neat hair do with a simple clasp,does me good!
My head is usually a happy person with happy hair,
but sometimes it's troubled with flakes and fall.
All it takes is a little oiling and a good massage,
my hair then rejoices with a good shampoo and conditioner wash.
Beauty lies in your hair they say,
Proper Hair routine will ensure you have healthy hair,
So Make sure you maintain a happy head with special care!

Hair diary

I so wish I could get my rich and shiny red-brown childhood hair( pic collaged) back! Mom tells me that I never was blessed with thick hair and she was compelled to shave my baby scalp every month.

As a kid, Mom cut my hair. She gave me amazing hair cuts. But she made a big blunder when I was in 4th standard. She cut my hair too short from the front and back. The biggest joke followed in school when my close friend got the exact haircut done the very next day!
Anyways,that was the last time I let Mom cut my hair :p

Talking of blunders, I got a big round brush stuck in my hair recently, while trying to hot air brush them. :( A huge out cry on twitter and twitter buddies suggested a wash under the shower but nothing worked and eventually Mom had to cut it. :( I cried myself to sleep that night.

Weddings are a good time to try new hairstyles. I grew my hair long for my big brother's wedding, to get a French braid done and it looked absolutely stunning with golden ribbons and matching outfit pins. Everyone said that they could easily spot me as the groom's sister :p That definitely was a 'WOW' moment :)
Looking back at old pictures, the first thing I notice is my weight :p and my hair! A good hairdo makes a picture perfect and bad hair makes you look untidy.

Having a really nice haircut can boost one's confidence too! I got a cool layer cut done in graduation college( 2 years back )and it made me feel good! I didn't care about how others felt my look was, all I knew was that I liked it, and I love the fact that a simple change in your looks can bring out a whole new side of you. Whenever I feel low or down, I sit in front of the dressing table, I open up my hair, brush them nicely and then I try out new hairstyles! It relaxes and rejuvenates me :)
These days I have a new hair problem: little niece's fists pulling my hair ;)

Apart from styling, It's very important to take care of your hair 'coz your true beauty lies in your hair. I apply a warm mixture of castor oil, almond oil, olive oil and coconut oil every week. I make sure I cover my head every time I go out. I apply a hair mask of egg and olive oil once in a month. My Best Friend is getting married soon and she has asked me to teach her all possible hairstyles that would go with her curly hair. I absolutely love playing with hair and experimenting with new hairstyles. These days I'm gaga over the poof hairstyle :)


After every good oiling, shampoo and conditioning, I let my hair dry naturally and then I comb them from the outside and inside. The next thing I do is, go and show my long tresses to Mom. :p The smile she has on her face is the biggest compliment for my hair and good enough to have a beautiful day! :)


Lovey Dovey Dove!

My hair usually looked best a day after I washed them. They turned dry and dull after shampooing and that would ruin my look. But that was before I started using Dove.
