Dos Amigos,
HeatCreek Hike
Hello its Libby, Andrew, and Kelly! Today, our group went on the creek hike a.k.a. the CRIKE! It was so fun and interesting to see all the wildlife and nature. Adonis was so funny and was a huge help, because if he wasnt there we wouldve perished. The chaperones and Captain Morgan taught us so much about the creek and Costa Rican wildlife and nature. We saw a morpho butterfly and a dart frog that only is found in one creek in the world! After that we jumped off a waterfall and walked backwards of a bridge. We climbed up rocks and waterfalls as a team building exercise and it was so fun! After all of these insane and exhilarating adventures, we saw some spider monkeys! In conclusion, it was an overall great time. We got to work on our group teamwork, we got to see crazy wildlife, and we got to have fun with our friends.
Chocolate Farm
Hi everyone it is Molly, Annelise, and Gannon. We had a fantabulous time on the chocolate tour. We learned about different types of trees (we saw one tree that was over 20 meters wide. It was the biggest tree weve ever seen in our life) and learned how to make chocolate from scratch. The chocolate making process was very cool and everyone got their own turn to participate. After we helped make chocolate, they served us the chocolate we made with fresh fruit. At the end, we made our own sugar cane juice. Everyone their was super friendly , especially all the animals and our favorite, the baby kitten! Overall our favorite parts of the tour was chocolate face masks, chocolate fountain, and drinking our of coconuts with bamboo straws!
Zipline
Hello everyone it is Anna Mussman and Bo Danko. We went ziplining today. We both had a wonderful time, zipping through the trees. Although it was extremely hot, the breeze felt amazing. The views from the La Palma were so pretty. We really liked the longer ziplines, but the short ones were also very fun. We learned a lot such as how to properly zipline. Flying over the trees, and being able to see the ocean from so high up, was a once in a lifetime experience. The staff was really friendly and we loved our stay at La Palma.
